Colours on your Smartphone
The need to meet customer demands quickly, the need to minimise the amount of time that paint products are held in our warehouse and the ability to adapt to new colour trends is making the “physical” catalogue obsolete, especially with the vast quantity of choice available on the market today.
For this reason, Stardust decided to develop an easy-to-use app that, in addition to gathering the collections in one place, includes a series of very interesting and useful tools for personalising products.
In the app, Stardust's collections are classified by colour family. The colours are viewable in either 2D or 3D, making the screen image very similar to the real coated sheet. Our constantly updated portfolio includes more and more new finishes and collections. In addition to the Stardust collections, the main colour systems are also available, including RAL, NCS®© and Pantone (Solid Coated and Solid Uncoated). Each code is then easily found by scrolling or by simply entering the code, even part of a code.
Stardust's app (download it free from the AppStore by searching for “stardustpro”) also lets you use your smartphone as a colour detector and stores the palettes on your device.
The system also allows you to configure the coating according to your needs and use (industrial for exteriors, industrial for interiors, architectural, super-durable, anti-graffiti), select the type of resin available depending on the product, the finish (smooth, textured, crumpled), the mechanical properties, the degree of gloss (super-opaque, opaque, semi-opaque, semi-gloss, gloss and super-gloss). It even allows you to define special features (such as an antimicrobial version).
