FIELDS OF APPLICATION

Epoxystar EP/PE is a thermal-hardening powder in the epoxy-polyester version.

This type of product has the characteristic of being a good compromise between epoxy products and products made with polyester. Epoxy-polyester powders are used more or less for the same applications as the epoxy powders, but with certain limitations in terms of hardness, resistance to heat, solvents and aggressive chemical products, and a more affordable cost compared to Epoxy powders. If exposed to sunlight, they will have the same chalking problems as the epoxy powders. They are used to coat metal furniture, heaters and radiators, shower stalls, household appliances, industrial shelving, etc.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The Epoxystar EP/PE version is not suited for application to supports located outdoors, due to its poor resistance to UV rays and to atmospheric agents.

The application, either automatic or manual, can be carried out by means of corona spray guns (60/80 KV) or triboelectric spray guns.

Epoxystar EP/PE products are developed in relation to the customer’s needs, in any colour version (RAL, Pantone, NCS) or as per the sample, guaranteeing all kinds of brilliance (glossy, semi-glossy, semi-matt, matt, super-matt), metallization, finish (smooth, dimpled, crumpled, etc.) and other special effects (transparent, pearlescent, moiré, etc.).
