FIELDS OF APPLICATION

Epoxystar EP is a thermal-hardening powder in an epoxy version.

This type of product features the following characteristics: high adhesion, great flexibility, exceptional hardness and excellent resistance to heat, corrosion, abrasion and chemical agents (acids, oil, greases, fuels, etc.). However, one limitation of Epoxystar EP is that it cannot be applied to artefacts that will be exposed to UV rays. This product is especially recommended for the painting of components in the automotive sector (engine blocks and under-the-hood components), household appliances, household items, etc, and it can be applied to steel, aluminium, MDF and to all those products which are not exposed to the outdoor elements.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The Epoxystar EP version made with epoxy powders is not suited for application to supports located outdoors, due to its poor resistance to UV rays and atmospheric agents.

The product can be applied, either manually or automatically, by means of corona spray guns (60/80 KV) or triboelectric spray guns.

Epoxystar EP products are developed in relation to the customer’s needs, in any colour version (RAL, Pantone, NCS) or as per the sample, guaranteeing all kinds of brilliance (glossy, semi-glossy, semi-matt, matt, super-matt), metallization, finish (smooth, dimpled, crumpled, etc.) and other special effects (transparent, pearlescent, moiré, etc.).
